An elderly woman was killed Tuesday in a single-car accident on I-95.
According to an incident report filed by Georgia State Patrol Trooper R.K. White, the woman, identified as Alice Schaberg, 80, of Atlantic, Iowa, was killed when she apparently fell asleep while traveling north on the interstate near the Midway exit shortly after 2:30 p.m.
Her 1995 Lincoln Towncar left the road and overturned in the median. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
