On June 6, the LeConte-Woodmanston Rice Plantation’s Super Saturday event featured Steve Hein, who lectured about the magnificient raptors of Georgia Southern University. Audience members were able to see the birds of prey up close and Marie Goodrich even got a picture taken with Freedom the bald eagle.
