Teachers were recognized at a January meeting of the Liberty County School Board for exceptional use of technology in the classroom. The awards were presented by board members Charlie Frasier, Carol Guyett and Chairwoman Lily.

Recipients were Liberty County High School's Billy Parker, Taylors Creek’s Melissa Aspinwall, Snelson-Golden Middle School’s John Ryan and  Jordye Bacon’s Sarah Hallum.

Each month, teachers are honored for incorporating technology in normal lesson plans.
