Walker Middle School’s Future Business Leaders of America group had its first meeting of the new school year Aug. 12. Members discussed upcoming events and activities, including a monthly “dress for success” day.
The Georgia FBLA dress code requires members to dress professionally for conferences and for business dealings. The first dress for success day was Aug. 17.
Walker Middle School’s FBLA has 58 members. Club sponsors Amanda Sikes and Julia Ann Cray-Smiley, who are keyboarding/computer lab instructors, say they’re excited about the new school year and the many events the group has planned. Students interested in joining FBLA should contact Sikes or Smiley.
