During a Liberty County Development Authority meeting on Tuesday, officials decided on a construction company to receive a contract to develop utility lines and an access road at the Firth Rixson foundry in Tradeport East.
However, the $1,014,727 million construction contract, tentatively awarded to Griffin Contracting, may be retracted because of non-compliance on the contractor’s part, LCDA CEO Ron Tolley said.
The LCDA will address the issue at 7:30 a.m. Monday and decide whether to follow through with the contract.
